Example: Add Document

Lets add a Invoice document. Lets assume there is a Document Type named Invoices (with fields Invoice Number, Client Name, Billing Date, Due Date, Total Amount)and a Department named Sales

 

To add the invoice document to File-Eazy…

 

  1. Login to your File-Eazy account.
  2. Click the ‘Add Document’ button on the Ribbon bar (top panel)
  3. In the Document Type drop-down, select the Document Type as Invoices
  4. In the Upload Document section, click on the click here option to add a file. You can also drag and drop a file in this section. (Note: You can add only a single file)
  5. Enter the indexing information for the fields Invoice Number, Client Name, Billing Date, Due Date and Total Amount.
  6. In the Department drop-down, select the Department as Sales.
  7. You can also associate the Invoice to Stacks and Tags
  8. Click on Check In as Draft to put the Invoice for Review.
  9. Click on the Check In and Publish to Publish the document.
